Marriage Settlement of William Wilson, Edstone, Wootton Wawen, gent., and Mary Slatter, only daughter of Thomas Slatter, formerly of Bidford, now of Salford Priors, gent. Trustees: John Slatter, Salford Priors, gent., only son of said Thomas and John Rich of Bearley, gent.: settling £2000 and £1000 on trustees to convert into funds and to pay interest to Mary Slatter for her sole use for life, to William Wilson for life if he survive her and then convert equally among children at 21 or marriage. Recitals: 5 6 June 1789 Settlement by Thomas Slatter, Bidford, of 1/3 of Manor of Barton and premises at Barton to use of his wife Mary for life and then their heirs, with power to charge the premises with sums not exceeding £3000 for the benefit of the younger children. - Death of Mary Slatter, leaving 2 children, John and Mary. 4 5 December 1792 Settlement of premises at Salford Priors upon Trustees for the benefit of Thomas Slatter for life and then to raise £2000 marriage portion for Mary or at 21. 4 May 1810 Marriage Settlement of John Slatter and Sarah Haywood whereby Thomas Slatter undertook not to charge the Barton premises with more than £1000.
