Copy lease for a year (release missing) by Thomas Woods Weston, Stratford-upon-Avon, esq. to Kelynge Greenway, Warwick, esq., John Weston, Pentonville, Middx., gent., and Jeffery Bevington Lowe, Ettington, banker as Trustees of: 1) Messuage in Hampton Lucy called the 'New House', 'the Old House being long since demolished' and two closes called the 'House Closes' lately in the occupation of Richard West now of John Osborn. 2) Inclosed ground called 'The Cow Pasture' where lately stood barn of 3 bays with hill and bottom thereto belonging. 3) Close called the 'Whitecross' formerly divided into 3, with hill and bottom thereto belonging. 4) Meadow under the hill known as the 'Little Ipsam Meadow'. 5) Two closes called the 'Oak Furlong'. 6) Closes called 'Middlefield' where a barn formerly stood and which were formerly divided into 3, 1/3 being lately made meadow. 7) Two closes called the 'Upper Grounds', one of which lies near the Heath and the other adjoining the Park Gate. 8) Two closes called 'The Heath'. All which were late in the occupation of Richard West, now of John Osborn. 9) Closes known as 'Sandy Close', the 'Henbane Close', the 'Cliff', the 'Middle Ground' with a barn of two bays and a stable, the upper ground next to the 'Star', the upper ground next to the Park Gate, the 'Park in Great Ipsum Meadow' (6 acres), and the 2 'Heath Grounds'. 10) 'Barn Close', 'Garden Close', 'Farm Close', 'Spring Close', 'Slade Close', and 'Coney ground'. 11) Two small closes known as 'Hawkes Closes' whereon a barn formerly stood. 12) 2 acres in 'Ipsum Meadow'. 13) 'The Little Heath'. Formerly in the occupation of Thomas Haynes, late of Richard West, now of John Osborn. All which are lands of John Lucy and were formerly the estate and inheritance of Robert Parker who conveyed the same by lease and release, 29 and 30 November 1781, to George Lucy, since deceased and John Lucy (then John Hammond) [John Hammond assumed name Lucy in 1787]. [Some of this deed appears to be missing - assumption is that premises were mortgaged by Lucy to Weston].
