Description

Conveyance from Joyce Goare of Tamworth, widow, and Edward Hawkeshurst of the parish of St. Clements, London, vintner, to Ralph Twigge of Tamworth, cordwayner, for £11 10s 0d, of a shop with the appurtenances near the market place in Tamworth (now or late in the tenure of Richard Ensor, Thomas Wilson and George Parkes) between a messuage in the possession of widow Lakin and John Welch on the West part, and a shop of John Riddinges on the East part. Witnesses: Gilbert Dukeson, William Madeley, Thomas Fox and Thomas Tonge. Purchased at Sotheby's from the collections of Sir Thomas Philipps, June 1899.
