Copy Chancery Bill by John Farly, Birmingham, carpenter (son and heir of John Farly, Evesham, Worcs., deceased) v. Robert Cookes Evesham, gent. for wrongful occupation and retention (under pretence of unredeemed mortgage) of premises in Cowle Street, Evesham. Reciting 17 April 1668. Post-nuptial settlement between John Farly, Evesham, weaver and Mary his wife (daughter of Thomas Jones, Evesham, mercer) settling on trustees (said Thomas Jones and his son William Jones, Evesham, mercer) premises in Cowle Street, in occupation Henry Byrch and Thomas Wood, to use of John and Mary for respective lives with remainder to heirs of body. Mary predeceased her husband leaving John Farly of Birmingham their only heir. John Farly the elder died without having done anything to bar entail.
