Description

Conveyance from Henry Cross late of Fulbrook and now of Hampton Lucy, farmer, with the consent of his mortgagee, the Lloyds Banking Company Limited, to John Wright of Stratford-upon-Avon, solicitor's clerk, and Henry Cordingley of Stratford-upon-Avon, schoolmaster, reciting DR274/9, and upon payment of the sum of £430 (£429.12.11d. to the said company and 7s. 1d. to the said Henry Cross) of a messuage in High Street in the occupation of John Luckett, cordwainer, and better known as 31 High Street formerly in the occupation of the said John Luckett, then of his widow, Edith Luckett, and since of John James Hedges, bounded on the north by a messuage belonging to ------- and now in the occupation of Wentworth Schofield, on the south side by a messuage belonging to ----------and now in the occupation of Charles Wesley North, on the ------ side by a cottage belonging to --------- and now in the occupation of Henry Vaughan and on the ------- side by the street called High Street; also the small piece of land standing behind the said messuage, together with the outhouse upon it, bounded on the north by land belonging to ------------, on the south by a path leading from High Street to two cottages owned by the Corporation of Stratford-upon-Avon; also the large piece of garden now used with the messuage previously described and lying behind the said premises occupied by the said Charles Wesley North; together with equal right with the owners of adjoining property for the time being to the use of the well and pump on payment of one fourth of the charges for the upkeep and repair of the same.
