Copy of the will, dated 22 August 1845, of Thomas Holder of Temple Grafton, farmer and maltster, with the following bequests: i) to his wife, Hannah Holder, 2 messuages in Temple Grafton, now in the occupation of George Rogers and Andrew Hunt, to hold for her life or until she remarries ii) to his son, Edward Holder, the messuages described in DR274/44/1 on the death or remarriage of his mother, the said Hannah Holder iii) to his son, Thomas Holder, 5 messuages in Temple Grafton, now in the occupation of John Tracey, Joseph Cad, John Loxley, William Robbins and John East, for his life and thereafter to be divided equally between his children iv) to his son, John Holder, a malthouse in High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon v) to his son, Joseph Holder, a farm in Temple Grafton, now in the testator's possession, with household furniture, farming stock and implements, etc. on trust that he continue to allow his mother, the said Hannah Holder, to live there and that they jointly continue the testator's business as a farmer and maltster for their benefit and for the benefit of any of the testator's children who are minors at his death vi) to his wife, Hannah Holder, an annuity of £40, chargeable on the farm described in DR274/44/v for her life or until she remarries vii) to his daughter, Jane, wife of ----- Jordon, £200 viii) to his son, William Holder, £100 ix) to his daughter, Sarah, wife of ----- Bullis, £160 x) to his daughter, Elizabeth Holder, £150 xi) to his son, John Holder, £100 xii) to his daughters, Emma, Martha and Hannah Holder, and his son Edward Holder, £200 each at the age of 21. With minor bequests to his friends. His wife, Hannah Holder, Edward Smith and Matthew Fisher appointed executrix and executors Proved 30 April 1846
