Description
Gift from Margaret late wife of Robert Turnour of Eye, widow, John Fysk and Robert Saxcy to Thomas Torald, William Huberd, Robert Chapell' and John Wythe of the same, their heirs and assigns, of a messuage and garden in the borough of Eye situated as described in DR220/1, which they late had, with Robert Turnour of Eye then deceased, by feoffment of John Clerk of Ocolt [Occold], to hold of the chief lords of the fee for due and accustomed services. Witnesses: Nicholas Hardyng one of the bailiffs of the said borough, John Botyldes, Robert Barkere, John Cook jun., Robert Damport and others. Dated at Eye, 9 June 10 Edward IV. Three tags from strips of deeds of much the same date mentioning John Clerk of Ocolt [Occold], Robert Damport c., with traces only of one seal.
