Feoffment from Thomas Fermor' [Fermour] of Eye and Margaret his wife formerly wife of John Stevenson' of the same, William Aldham' [Aldeham] of Brome and William Lee of Eye to Thomas Nele of the same of a messuage and garden in Eye between a messuage late Thomas Pepper' [Peper], on the north, Edward Saham on the south, the highway on the east and Edward Sulyard' esq. on the west, which they had by feoffment of John Cheveler of Thrandeston' by his deed dated 10 June 6 Henry VIII, to hold of the chief lords of the fee by due and accustomed service. Dated at Eye, 27 May 28 Henry VIII Endorsed with memorandum of livery and seisin in the presence of Thomas Mason' and John Goldyng' then bailiffs, Richard Felde, John Manby, Roger Vere, John Newman', John Nycholl' and others. Two seals and a fragment on four tags: 1. letters TF. 2. letter I crowned. 3. gone. 5. letter W crowned.
