Description

Bargain and sale by Henry Goodere of Baginton, esq., son and heir of Francis Goodere, esq., deceased, to Dame Alice Leigh, widow of Sir Thomas Leigh, deceased, for £10, of two acres of land and meadow in the fields of Stoneleigh and in a long meadow in Stoneleigh, late parcel of the possessions of the dissolved gild of St Mary in Warwick, lately in the occupation of William Neale. Which said acres were part of the lands purchased by Francis Goodere from the Crown by Letters Patent dated 13 April 1544. Warranty clause and covenant to produce title deeds.
