Description

Probate of the will of John Wheatley of Snitterfield, gentleman, dated 23 January 1800, bequeathing to his wife Anne for life four messuages in Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, with remainder to his grand-daughter Elizabeth Hiron; to his cousin, George Cooke of Warwick, gentleman, and William Freeman of Mickleton, gentleman, two parcels of woodland containing 20 acres in Snitterfield Bushes, in trust for his daughter Elizabeth, wife of Thomas Hiron, with remainder to Thomas Hiron, should he survive her, and then to their daughter, Elizabeth Hiron; and the residue of his estates (with the exception of certain household goods bequeathed to his wife, and the sum of £175 bequeathed to George Cooke and John Stone of Snitterfield, yeomen, in trust for his wife and grand-daughter) to Thomas Hiron, whom he appoints executor.
