Description

Indenture dated 11 November 1786 between William Laud of Warwick, butcher, and Mary, his wife, John Laud of David Street, Bartlett Square, London, bricklayer, John Barnett of David Street, aforesaid, brassfounder and Mary, his wife and Jonas Laud of Warwick, yeoman (which said William, John, Mary and Jonas are the sons and daughter of John Laud, late of Stratford-upon-Avon, labourer, by Mary his wife, daughter of the said John Gibbs hereunder named, both deceased and are also devisees under the will of John Gibbs, dated 27 August 1776, late of Bearley, carpenter, deceased) of the first part, Edward Horley of Ufton, gent., of the second part, and William Edwards of Tanworth, grazier, of the third part, concerning the conveyance of a new erected messuage between Henley Street and Wood Street, Stratford-upon-Avon. Witnesses: John Tomes, Abraham King, Samuel Humphreys of Staple Inn and John Martin Rousseau, clerk to Mr. John Smart of Staple Inn. Lease for a year dated 10 November 1786 enclosed.
