Attested Copy of indenture of Marriage Settlement dated 6 July 1802, between the Reverend Thomas Chamberlain Hughes Chamberlain of Shennington, co. Glos., of the first part, Anne Snow of Tidmington, co. Worcs., spinster, of the second part, and the Reverend Thomas Lambert Snow of Tidmington and the Reverend Robert Edward Hughes of Shennington, clerk, of the third part (reciting that a marriage was intended between the said Thomas C. H. Chamberlain and Anne Snow and also reciting ER3/2118-2119 and that it had been agreed that the said mortgage for £2,000 should be assigned to Thomas Lambert Snow and Robert Edward Hughes upon trusts of the settlement) whereby it was witnessed that, in pursuance of the agreement, and in consideration of five shillings to Anne Snow paid by Thomas Lambert Snow and Robert Edward Hughes, she, the said Anne Snow, with the privity of T. C. H. Chamberlain, assigned the said mortgage (created by ER3/2118-2119 by a term of 1000 years) to the said Thomas Lambert Snow and Robert Edward Hughes upon the trusts of the settlement therein set forth.
