Description

Feoffment by Michael Goodrich, of Stratford upon Avon, baker, and Sarah his wife, with consent of Samuel Farr, apothecary, and Joseph Smith, ironmonger, both of the same, executors of Dorothy Case of the same, widow, deceased, to Edward Spurr, blacksmith (reciting a mortgage of 14 September 1700 of a barn with yard and premises lying in Walker's Street, alias the Chappell Lane lying between the tenement of the said Edward Spurr on the west, the barn of Richard Tyler gent. in the occupation of John Hunt, gent. on the east) of the said barn etc. as now divided from the garden of the said Michael by an old quick sett hedge, with the passage at the end of the said barn, leading out of Walkers Street, which said barn and garden are now in the tenure of Thomas Woolmer, gent., and John Hunt, gent. and were purchased by Michael Goodrich deceased, father of the said Michael Goodrich of one Mary Maides, widow of Thomas Maides late of Stratford upon Avon, felmonger, for £18 and £6 in discharge of a mortgage to the said Dorothy Case.
