Description

Agreement made between Beatrice Brome widow of John Brome of Baddesley Clynton and Nicholas Brome son and heir of the said John and Beatrice, reciting that whereas the said Beatrice by a quitclaim dated 14 [sic] January 13 Edward IV [1473/4] had released to the said Nicholas all her claim and interest in the manor of Wotton' Hull or Wodcote in the parish of Wotton' [Leek Wooton] and all other lands, tenements and appurtenances in Warwik', Myton', le Lee, Wodlow, Budbroke, Hampton Curley, Bewsale, Ofchurch, Eythorp and Honyngham upon condition that the said Beatrice should have possession of the manor of Baddesley Clynton. The said Nicholas to deliver a release to the said Beatrice as further surety for this agreement within six weeks of the receipt of the said quitclaim. Given 1 January 13 Edward IV [1473/4].
