Admin History

These papers were collected and compiled by the Rev. Thomas Proctor Wadley (died 1895) who although ordained, lived at Bidford, Warwickshire, without a cure, from 1846-1873 before becoming rector of Naunton Beauchamp, Worcestershire from 1875 until his death. He was an able antiquary, particularly interested in Worcestershire and Gloucestershire documents, about which he often wrote under the name `Vestigans'. His brother, Proctor Vernon Wadley, continued his researches until his own death in 1913
