Burton Dassett: early deeds, Knightcote, a notarial instrument

Description

Notarial instrument recording that on the twelfth day of May in the thirteen hundred and sixty third year of the Incarnation and first of the pontificate of Urban V, in the church of the Holy Trinity, Coventry, William Hacokes and Lucy his wife appeared personally and declared that they freely conveyed to William Peyto lands and tenements in Knightcote in the parish of Derset.

This was done in the presence of Master John Greneburgh, rector of the church of G/Cedewych, Joan atte Birches and John Cristelton in the diocese of Coventry and Lichfield

Notarised by Thomas de Sekyngham, clerk of the diocese of York.
