Burton Dassett: early deeds, Burton Dasset, a lease

Description

Lease for lives by Richard Verney, esq. of the one part to John Askell, Agnes his wife and Thomas their son of the other part, of one toft and fifteen acres of land with appurtenances in Burton Dasset, to hold for the lives of the grantees and the longest liver, paying annually four shillings to Richard and his heirs at Lady Day and Michaelmas by equal portions, and service due and accustomed to the chief lord of the fee.

Heriot of three shillings and fourpence due at each death. Power of distraint.
