Includes letters January - September 1889 written to her brother Laurence Archer Hiron, in South Africa, concerning the health and financial affairs of Thomas Hiron, and mortgage 26 July 1895 by Mary Ellen Pratt, widow, Charles Hubert Pratt, Stratford-upon-Avon, brewer's clerk and Arthur Dormer Pratt, Southam, clerk (her sons) to Jane Elizabeth Gamble, Stratford-upon-Avon, widow, for £40, of their interest in the real and personal estate of Thomas Hiron, deceased.
