Description

Right hand indenture of fine between Thomas Legh, plaintiff and William Legh, deforciant, of one hide of land with appurtenances in Little Chesterton, to be held of the chief lord of the fee, for swervices due and accustomed, and paying one peppercorn at the Assumtpion of the Virgin. If Thomas dies without heirs, land to pass to Stephen his brother Dated at Oxford, the quindene of Holy Trinity, 31 Henry III, before Roger Thurkelby, Gilbert Preston, Master Simon Wulton, John Cobham, justices.
