Chesterton: early deeds

Description

Grant by Hugh Legh (de Loges), lord of Chesterton to Langon, son of Sir Richard Legh (de Loges), for homage and service, of a half virgate of land, with appurtenances in Chesterton, which Gilbert Helim formerly held, together with a messuage and other appurtenances. To hold freeely, with liberty to assign, paying sixpence annually at two usual terms, for all service, saving only royal service.
