Chesterton: early deeds

Description

Grant by Richard Sowe to his son Richard, and Joan his wife, formerly daughter of John Blount of 'Simtenfeld', of his messuage, lands and tenements in Chesterton which he had by gift and feoffment of Hugh Loges his father. To hold the same to the said Richard, Joan and the heirs of their bodies, form the chief lord of the fee for services due and accustomed. For default of issue, remainder to the next heir of grantor.
