(Copy) Articles of Agreement between Sir Thomas Aston, Aston, Cheshire, Bart. and William Bayley, citizen and goldsmith of London granting Bayley the right to mine for copper on Aston's lands at Nuneaton with provision for the building of mine buildings when ore discovered: the payment to Aston of varying sums of £10 and £15 per tun of ore mined from three meires [land 30 yds. x 15 yds.] to be allotted: Bayley to have one-twelfth of all ore on land after original meires worked out.
