Chesterton: early deeds

Description

Licence from the Crown to John, son of Nicholas de Warwick, to alienate the manor of Chesterton, held of the Crown and in the tenure of John Saundersted during the life of the said Nicholas, after the death of Nicholas, to Master Stephen Bromley, clerk, his heirs and assigns, to be held of the Crown for services due and accustomed. The manor to remain with John Saundersted of Rodbaston and Elizabeth his wife for their lives, with reversion to John, son of Nicholas Warwick, Margaret his wife and the heirs of their bodies.
