Description

Release and quitclaim by William le Wyte of Chesterton, for himself and his heirs, of all his rights in two messuages which Joan, wife of Richard Thedrich, held as dower after the death of the said Richard her husband. Which two messuages the said Joan gave to Thomas Legh, son of William Legh, during the life of the said Joan, for fealty and swervices due to the chief lord of the fee, paying annually to Wyte and his heirs or assigns at Michaelmas, one pair of ('cirotecarum') worth a halfpenny in lieu of all secular services.
