Covenant to Suffer a Recovery: Cow Honeybourne

Description

Indenture of Covenant between John Blake of Marston in the County of Gloucester, yeoman and Joane, his wife (daughter and heir of William Carter late of Honeybourne, husbandman deceased and Dorothy, his wife) of one part and Richard Blake of Marston aforesaid, yeoman and John Knight of the same place, yeoman of the other part, whereby John Blake and Joane, his wife covenanted with Richard Blake and John Knight to permit them to commence proceedings for suffering a Recovery of the premises described in ER3/2832-2833 to the intent that the estate tail and remainders in the said premises should be destroyed, which Recovery should enure to the use of the said Joan and the heirs of her body and in default of such issue to the use of John Blake and his heirs forever.
