Grant of Premises: Long Marston

Description

Settlement between Raffe Sheldon of Beoley in the County of Worcester, esquire, Edward Sheldon, esquire (son and heir apparent of Raffe Sheldon) and Walter Savage of Broadway, esquire of the first part Henry Cooper of Marston Sicca [Long Marston], yeoman and Anne, his wife and Thomas Cooper (son of the said Henry and Anne) of the second part and John Newton the younger and Thomas Warner of Warmyngton in the County of Gloucester of the third part, whereby Edward Sheldon and Walter Savage with the consent of Raffe Sheldon and in consideration of £15 to the persons of the first. part paid by Henry Cooper granted to John Newton and Thomas Cooper the premises described in ER3/2838 saving and excepting to the all freedoms, warrens, hawking, hunting, fishing, fowling waifs and strays, goods of felons, assize of bread and ale Court Baron Views of Frankpledge etc. in any way appertaining to the Manor of Marston Sicca as for and concerning one half moiety to the use of Henry Cooper and Anne his wife for the term of the life of Anne and after her death to the use of Henry and Thomas Cooper and their heirs forever and as to and concerning the other half moiety of the premises to the use of Henry Cooper and Thomas Cooper and their heirs forever subject to a yearly rent payable to the persons of the first part of one penny.
