Lease: Goddard's Tenement, Buckland and Laverton, Gloucestershire

Description

Lease from the Right Honourable Thomas Lord Viscount Weymouth, Baron Thynne of Warminster Wilts. Knight of the most noble Order of the Garter, to John Higford Griffiths of Evesham, gentleman of a messuage in Laverton in the Parish of Buckland called Goddards Tenement then in possession of Daniel Griffiths (father of the said John Higford Griffiths) and all lands etc. thereto belonging and more particularly described in a Schedule thereto for a term of 99 years, following the death of one Bernard Kitsham or sooner determination of a term of years then existing in the said premises, in consideration of £240 paid by John Higford Griffiths. Signed: Weymouth. Seal of red wax. Witnesses: Henry Thomas and Charles Downes. Surrendered by Thomas Richardson assignee of the said Term granted to John Higford Griffiths, to Thomas Phillipps esquire of Middle Hill Broadway. Dated 20th. May 1812. See also ER3/2849 ER3/2850.
