Covenant to Levy a Fine: Sheep Street and High Street (Warwick) and Hatton

Description

Indenture of Settlement between George Packwood of Warwick, esquire and Mary, his wife (daughter and only child and heir at Law of Charles Watts late of Warwick deceased) of the first part, Edward Inge of London, gentleman of the second part, and Thomas Bree and George Butter, both of Warwick, gentlemen of the third part, whereby in pursuance of Marriage Articles between George Packwood and Mary, his wife dated the 8th of March 1790, the said George Packwood and Mary, his wife covenanted with Edward Inge and his heirs to levy a Fine of a messuage with appurtenances in Sheep Street late in the tenure of Charles Watts and then of George Packwood and Mary, his wife. Also another messuage in High Street theretofore in the tenure of Nathaniel Nicholls and then of Edward Willes also a messuage in Hatton and several closes called, the Great Reynells, the Little Reynells, the Heathy Leasowes, the Heathy Meadow and five Leys all which premises were thereforeto in the occupation of Samuel Dadley and then of William Taylor to the use of George Packwood and Mary, his wife for their lives with remainders over according to the terms of the said Marriage Articles.
