Lease: Symon's Tenement, Buckland and Laverton, Gloucestershire

Description

Lease from the Right Honourable Thomas, Lord Viscount Weymouth, Baron Thynne of Warminster, Lord of the Manor of Buckland and Laverton to Richard Phillips of Laverton in the Parish of Buckland, yeoman, of a tenement called Symons Tenement being a quarter land in Laverton more particularly therein described, for a term of 99 years if John Reeve and others or any of them should so long live, at a yearly rent of 10/- and a heriot of the best Beast, upon the dropping of of any of the lives, also Suit of Court. The consideration for granting of that Lease being the surrender of a previous Lease made by the said Viscount to Richard Phillips and the payment of £16. Signed: Weymouth. Armorial seal of red wax.
