Counterpart of a Lease from the Most Honourable Thomas, Marquis of Bath, Viscount Weymouth, Baron Thynne of Warminster, Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Garter to Richard Phillips of Buckland, yeoman, of a dwelling house with stable orchard and little Close thereto adjoining, situate in Laverton, being part of a tenement called Simmon's within the Manor of Buckland and Laverton, then in the possession of the said Richard Phillips for the term of his life and thereafter for a term of 99 years if John Phillips aged 26 years and Lydia Phillips aged 23 years (son and daughter of the said Richard Phillips by Lydia his former wife) or either of them should so long live, at a yearly rent of 10/- and the payment of 30/- as aheriot upon the dropping of either of the said lives also Suit of Court.
