Portion of a Lease from Thomas Phillipps of Middle Hill esquire, Lord of the Mnaor of Buckland to William Freeman of Laverton in the Parish of Buckland, farmer and John Freeman of Addlesthorp Glos., farmer, father of the said William Freeman, of a messuage with orchard and garden in Laverton theretofore in the occupation of John Nild containing one acre, and a close called Ox Close in Buckland containing 2 acres, 1 rood and 38 perches in the occupation of John Nild also a cottage with barn etc. containing half an acre and several closes called by the name of Maw Farm theretofore in the tenure of Thomas Fisher, also a close called Lay Ground adjoining the said cottage containing 5a-1r-14p, another close lying South West of the said cottage containing 22a-0r-37p, also a close of arable lying South of the last mentioned close containing 25a-1r-3p, lying West of the last mentioned Close containing 16a-2r-29p, also another pasture close lying North of the last mentioned Close called Small ridge containing 16a-2r-1p, also a close meadow called New Lay containing 14a-2r-32p, also another close os arable lying West of the last mentioned close containing 12a-1r-31p, also another arable close lying West of the last mentioned close containing 23a-0r-4p all which premises were in the occupation of John Nild.
