Lease: Izod's Tenement, Buckland and Laverton, Gloucestershire

Description

Lease from the Right Honourable Thomas, Lord Viscount Weymouth, Baron Thynne of Warminster, Lord of the Manor of Buckland and Laverton to William Shirley of a messuage with orchard thereto in Laverton in the Parish of Buckland called Izod's Tenement theretofore in the occupation of Thomas Harris, with all lands thereto belonging within the Parish and Manor of Buckland except mines quarries and timber, for a term of 99 years then following if William Shirley (then aged 52 years) William Shirley, his son of Moreton in the Marsh, baker (then aged 18 years) and John Radford (son of Samuel Radford of Buckland) and aged 4 years or any of them should so long live at a yearly rent of (?) paying a heriot upon the dropping of any of the said lives and Suit of Court. The consideration for the granting of that Lease being £600. Signed Weymouth. Seal of red wax. Witnesses: F. Findon and John Bayzand.
