Lease and Counterpart: Gardner's and Blissard's, Buckland and Laverton, Gloucestershire

Lease and Counterpart from the Right Honourable Thomas, Lord Viscount Weymouth, Baron of Warminster, Lord of the Manor of Buckland and Laverton to Martha Workman of Laverton in the Parish of Buckland, widow, of a messuage called Gardner's with backside garden and orchard thereto belonging and several parcels of lands disposed in the Common fields of Laverton belonging to the said messuage and therein more particularly described; also a messuage called Blissard's with garden, orchard and other lands thereto belonging, excepting rights over quarries and timber, all which premises were situate in the Parish and Manor of Buckland and were in the occupation of Martha Workman, for a term of 99 years if Wenman Nutt, Martha Workman and Elizabeth Whitford (servant to Martha Workman and aged 20 years) or any of them should so long live, at a yearly rent of £5 and the payment of £10 as a heriot on the dropping of any of the said lives and also Suit of Court to the Manor Court of Buckland. The consideration for the granting of that Lease being the surrender of two previous Leases from Lord Weymouth to Joseph Gloucester alias Workman dated 29th September 1731 and to Martha Workman, dated 28th September 1744 respectively for lives and in consideration of £295.
