Lease and Release: Sheep Street, Stratford-upon-Avon

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 27th. June 1829 between John Margetts of Warwick, auctioneer and Daniel Winter Busbury of the same place, gentleman (a Trustee for the said John Margetts) of the first part, John Green of Stratford-upon-Avon, victualler of the second part, and John Boucher of Snitterfield, farmer of the third part. Reciting ER3/2924-2925 it was witnessed that John Margetts and Daniel Winter Busbury conveyed the hereditaments situate in Sheep Street, Stratford-upon-Avon to John Green and John Boucher, the interest of the said John Boucher being as trustee for John Green in consideration of £250 paid by John Green. Signed: John Margetts, D. W. Busbury and John Green. Seals of red wax no impression. Witness: Joseph Page, Solicitor Warwick. Lease dated the 26th June 1829 by John Margetts and his Trustee to John Green and his Trustee of the same premises for one year. Signed John Margetts and J. W. Busbury. Sealed and witnessed as before.
