Bond to Secure Maintenance of a Bastard: Stratford-upon-Avon and Welford-on-Avon
Description
Bond by William Fletcher of Stratford-upon-Avon, baker to Richard Smith of the same place, yeoman and William Davis of the same place, victualler in the sum of £40, the condition of that obligation being the performance of another Bond by the said William Fletcher, Richard Smith and William Davis to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Welford for the maintenance of a bastard child. Witnesses: Eliza Wheler and Robert Wheler.
