Conveyance: Hall End and Polesworth

Description

Indenture of Conveyance between Thomas Corbin of Hallend, esquire of the first part, Sir Henry Goodier of Pollesworth, knight and John Goodier (son and heir apparent of the said Sir Henry) of the second part, and Edward Newman of Grayes Inne, gentleman and Eustace Craddock of Sowe, Warwickshire, gentleman of the third part, whereby Thomas Corbin in consideration of a sum of money to him paid by Edward Newman and Eustace Craddock, granted to the said Edward Newman and Eustace Craddock certain arable lands, leys, hades balkes, meadows etc. with appurtenances containing 20 acres in the fields of Hallend and in Lincroft and Broadmeadow in the Parish of Pollesworth then in the occupation of Thomas Twelves and Francis Atkins, upon trust that Gawen Gravenor, esquire should be plaintiff in an Action for Recovery of the said premises in which Sir Henry Goodier and John Goodier should be Vouchees. Such Recovery to enure to the use of Thomas Corbin and his heirs for ever. Signed: Thomas Corbin, H. Goodere and John Goodere. Seal of red wax.
