Lease and Release: Star Inn (New Street), The Pound and Saltisford, Warwick

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 12th. July 1728 being a conveyance from Thomas White of Warwick, innholder and Elizabeth his wife (widow of Robert Taylor late of Warwick, butcher deceased) and Robert Taylor only son of the said Robert Taylor deceased (which said Elizabeth and Robert were Executrix and Executor of Robert Taylor deceased) to William Busby of Chipping Norton Gentleman of the premises described in ER3/2792 and also described as the Half Moon or Starre Inne in the possession of Thomas White also a messuage in the possession of George Carter adjoining to the East end thereof and another messuage adjoining to the West end thereof in the possession of Thomas Taylor also several cottages situate in the Pound Warwick and a close in the Saltisford called Brick Kiln Close, in consideration of £220 paid by William Busby. Signed: Thomas White, Elizabeth White and Robert Taylor. Seals of red wax. Witnesses: Charles Hinckes and Wheate Busby. Lease from Thomas White and Elizabeth his wife and Robert Taylor to William Busby of the same premises for one year. Signed, sealed and witnessed as before.
