Lease and Release: Halford
Description
Conveyance by Lease and Release from William Knibb of Hawford alias Halford, wheelwright, and Mary his wife, and Sarah Knibb of Hawford alias Halford, widow, to Thomas Knibb of Ducklington, co. Oxon., yeoman, for £190, of a cottage garden and a close thereto belonging in Halford, one quarter of a yard land in the common fields of Halford formerly purchased of George Underhill, gent., and then in possession of the said Thomas Knibb or Thomas Blackborne; and one other quarter of a yard land in the common fields of Halford formerly purchased of Richard and John Ayinge and then in the possession of Thomas Knibb and Thomas Blackborne, subject to a yearly rent charge of £6 payable to Sarah Knibb for her life and the payment of £10 to William Knibb at the end of 12 months after the decease of Sarah Knibb. Witnesses: Edmund Perkes, Thomas Bloxam, Arthur Rowney, Malachy Lester and Thomas Bickering.
