Copy Covenant to Levy a Fine: Halford

Description

Copy Covenant made between Thomas Knibb of Halford, husbandman, and Hester his wife, and William Knibb of Halford, wheelwright, whereby for the purpose of barring all estates tail in premises thereinafter mentioned and for settling the same upon William Knibb and his heirs, it was agreed that William Knibb with Mary his wife and William Rose and Hannah his wife should before the end of Trinity Term then next levy a fine upon the premises described (ER3/2391) except a right of way through them reserved to Thomas Knibb, to enure to the use of William Knibb and his heirs for ever. Witnesses: Joseph Hunt, Thomas Plestoe of Stretton and John Smart.
