Lease and Release: Radbourne

Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 5th March 1772 by Robert Pigott of Chetwyn, Salop., esquire to Samuel Cleaver of Leamington Hastings, grazier and Henry Cleaver of Kites Hardwick, grazier, of a capital messuage or Manor House in Radbourne theretofore in the occupation of William Pargiter, esquire and later of Samuel Shepherd and then of Samuel Cleaver and Henry Cleaver; also several closes called the Round Meadow (6 acres, 0 roods and 4 perches), Chapel Ground (102a-2r-20p), three closes called the Pingles containing respectively, 2a-1r-7p, 1a-2r-15p and 1a-1r-21p, Long Meadow (8a-0r-27p), Millfield (89a-3r-32p), Corn Close (7a-2r-33p), Willford (31a-2r-28p) and all tithes relating thereto also a fourth part of the Manor of Radbourn in consideration of £3575 and £3575 paid by each of the said Samuel and Henry Cleaver.
