Description

Probate of the Will of Caroline Parker of Quinton whereby she devised and bequeathed all her real and personal estate to her sister Maria but in case the said Maria should pre-decease her, to her cousin Philemon Price Sanders then of Hatton, upon Trust for sale and to pay legacies to Testatrix's sister Harriet Allen, Ann and Maria Bevan (daughters of the said Harriet), Mary Parker of Upper Quinton (daughter of John Parker deceased brother of Testatrix), Elizabeth Howe (wife of Henry Howe and sister of Mary) to the children of Francis Parker of Manchester (uncle of the Testatrix), Mary Sanders (daughter of Testatrix's late aunt, Mary Sanders), the children of Elizabeth Armfield (theretofore Elizabeth Sanders, cousin of Testatrix), the children of Elizabeth and Ann Morris (Testatrix's cousins), Agnes and Mary Cooper of Clerkenwell Green, London, spinsters, the said Philemon Price Sanders, and the Vicar and churchwardens of Quinton (for repair of grave, inscription on tablet, erection of a board specifying bequests, repair of the village pump and relief of the poor). The said Philemon Price Sanders and Maria Parker appointed executor and executrix. Witnesses: Lionel Hiatt and Elizabeth Davis. Proved by Maria Parker on the 12th June 1857 in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury.
