Lease by the Reverend Charles Wheler of Leamington Hastings, clerk, William Bagshaw of Newton, Northants., gentleman, John Barnwell of Easborough House, Thurlaston, gentleman and William Weston of Upper Boddington, Northants., gentleman at the nomination of Ann Savage, wife of Richard Savage of Hill in the Parish of Leamington Hastings, theretofore wife of Samuel Cleaver, deceased, and with the approbation of the said Richard Savage, and upon the nomination of Sarah Cleaver of Rugby, spinster (only surviving child and heir of the body of the said Samuel Cleaver by Ann Savage) to John Smart of Red Lion Square, Middlesex, gentleman of the premises in Radbourn referred to in ER3/3257 for his life jointly with that of Ann Savage. And also by Sarah Cleaver to John Smart of 2 messuages and 2 closes in Harbury and 18 acres, 0 roods and 2 perches alloted in respect of one yard land in the Common fields of Harbury and devised to her by the Will of Thomas Cattell to the intent that a Recovery should be suffered in which Edward Tomes of Southam gentleman should be Demandant. To enure as to the hereditaments in Radbourne to the use of Charles Wheler, William Bagshaw, John Barnwell and William Weston during the life of and for the benefit of Ann Savage and thereafter to the use of Sarah Cleaver; and as to and concerning the hereditaments in Harbury to the use of Sarah Cleaver and her heirs for ever.
