Indenture between Walter Savage the elder of Broadway, esquire of one part and Sir Richard Cocks of Dumbleton, Glos., baronet, John Cocks of the City of Gloucester, esquire and Richard Freeman of Battesford, Glos., esquire of the other part. Lease for a year of Broadway Court etc. Signed: Walter Savage. Seal of arms. Witnesses: Will. Stephens, Thomas Hawkins, Luke Best and Arthur Muckloe. Endorsed 'In Chancery, Newport and his wife Complainants, Henry Savage Clerke Defendant, 11th June 1735. This parchment Indenture was then shewne forth to Luke Best at his Examination on the Execution of a Commission in his cause by him - Deposed unto before us - William Jones, Nathaniel Lye, Richard Elly and ?Nich.
