Lease and Release: Middle Hill Estate, Broadway
Description
Release in Fee by Messrs. Foley and Whitcombe, Trustees for the sale of the estates of the late George Savage, esquire deceased (by the direction of the Cestuis que Trust), to Thomas Phillipps, esquire of a Capital Messuage called Middle Hill and certain other messuages, farms and lands in the Parish of Broadway, Worcs. Also assignment of the remainder of two several terms of 500 years and 2000 years in certain parts of the same premises - Mr. William Cliffe (by the direction within) to Edward Cotterall, esquire, in Trust to attend the inheritance. Lease for a year dated 23rd January 1795 enclosed. Mentions Thomas Roberts, Haverfordwest esquire and Eleanor, his wife, Thos Stokes of the same place and Susan, his wife, which said Eleanor and Susan were the only surviving children of Eleanor Wogan deceased.
