Conveyance: Broadway and Snowshill

Description

Indentures of five parts between William Jukes of Bromley, Kent, esquire, only brother and heir at law of Thomas Jukes late of Combe, Glos. esquire, deceased of the first part, the Reverend William Kinleside the younger of Angmering, Sussex, clerk (nephew and residuary devisee and legatee named in the last Will and Testament of the said Thomas Jukes, as to all his estates) of the second part, Sarah Jukes of Bromley, Kent, widow and relict of the said Thomas Jukes, Andrews Harrison of Broad Street, City of London, esquire and John Harrison of the same street and city, esquire (which said Andrews and John Harrison are Trustees named in said Will of the said Thomas Jukes as to his real and part of his personal estate and they and the said Sarah Jukes are the Executors and Executrix therein named) of the third part, William Kinleside the elder of St-Mary-le-bone, Middlesex gentleman and Elizabeth his wife (sister of the said Thomas Jukes deceased), Marta Kinleside daughter of the said William Kinleside the elder and Elizabeth, his wife, Sarah Jukes of St-Mary-le-bone, Middlesex, spinster, another sister of the said Thomas Jukes, Alice Jenkins of Bromley, Kent, spinster, Jukes Colson of the City of London, ironmonger, John Wells of Bromley, Kent, esquire and William Wells of Bromley, Kent, esquire, Legatees named in said last Will and Testament of the said Thomas Jukes of the fourth part, and George Savage, Severnhampton, Glos., esquire, of the fifth part: recites Will of Thomas Jukes dated 16th December 1774 and an agreement of 24th March 1774 between said Thomas Jukes and George Savage in consideration of £10,500 paid by said George Savage to said Thomas Jukes and his Executors above parties convey to the said George Savage all that newly erected Mansion house with appurtenances in Broadway and lands etc. in Snowshill (named in ER3/3372-3373). Signed by all parties conveying. Seals. Witnesses: Jos. Cruttenden of Surgeons Hall, Sarah Stolding of Bromley, Kent, Benjamin Bates, William Taston, servant to Messrs. Harrison, William Allen and Thomas Warrell, clerk to Mr. Cruttenden. Lease for a year dated 1st October 1777 enclosed. Endorsed by J. O. Halliwell-Phillipps 'Middlehill Estate'. See also ER3/3377.
