Draft Conveyance: Chapel Street, Stratford-upon-Avon

Draft Conveyance by the Reverend William Barrett, theretofore of Stratford-upon-Avon but then of Saintbury, Glos., clerk, to John Ashfield of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman, of a messuage theretofore two dwelling houses in Chapel Street bounded on the North by a messuage theretofore occupied by William Halford, house painter afterwards of John Sharp and later rebuilt, and then in the occupation of John Canning, and on the South by a messuage called the Falcon Inn occupied by the said John Ashfield which premises were altered by one Henry Roberts a former proprietor thereof and were before such alterations in the occupation of Richard Soper, Rob Horseman, Thomas Tims and Widow Dadley afterwards of the said Henry Robs and Austin Warrilow and for several years the last part by the said William Barrett. Also a little close belonging to the said messuage and containing three quarters of an acre lying on the West side of the said messuage theretofore in the successive occupations of Henry Roberts, Austin Warrilow, Dinah Warrilow and the said William Barrett for the sum of £520.
