Lease of land: Alcester

Description

Grant by Joan, widow of William de Wytheleye, in her complete power of disposition as a widow, to Richard de Wynderford of Alyncester[Alcester] and Felicia, his wife, of a curtilage and all her land with a meadow and pasture to the same adjoining in Alcester, which curtilage lay near the Dovecot, lay dispersedly in the territory of Alcester. To hold the said premises to the said Richard and Felicia for the term of their lives, paying annually to the Grantor and her heirs eighteen shillings at the four annual quarters for all services, suits and demands. Witnesses: Richard de Westkote, John Bayly, John Dalby, Henry Le Lyndraper, Thomas de Wynderford and others. Dated at Alyncester Monday next after the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel 38 Edward III [1364]. Seal lost.
