Lease of premises: Alcester

Description

Indenture between Thomas de Crewe and Juliana his, wife of one part and John Qwyntrel and Matilda, his wife of the other part whereby the said Thomas and Juliana granted to the said John and Matilda one tenement in Alcester in a place called Blachefeld, between the tenement of William Waremon and the tenement of St. Mary which tenement the aforesaid John and Matilda formerly held, to hold the said tenement to the said John and Matilda for the term of their lives and the life of the survivor of them paying annually to the aforesaid Thomas and Juliana their heirs and assigns six shillings, at the Feast of the Annunciation three shillings and at the Feast of St. Michael three shillings and three shillings. Witnesses: Reginalde Riche, Richard Ichinderford, Henry Hogmorton, Stephen Webbe, John Page and many others. Dated at Alyncester in the Feast of St Michael Mante Tuanba 2 Henry IV [1400].
