Lease of premises: Alcester

Description

Grant by Thomas Crewe, Lord of Morhall to John Bechamp and Margaret, his wife, of a certain part of a house containing two rooms, next the messuage of the aforesaid John and Margaret in Alcester, with one parcel of land in the name of a curtilage, to hold the said premises to the said John and Margaret for their lives by service of one shilling annually to be paid to the said Thomas his heirs and assigns at the times used in Alcester. Dated at Alcester in the Feast of St. Petronella the Virgin 2 Henry IV [1401]. Circular seal of brown wax, armorial, a saltire in chief a lion passant guardant.
