Assignment of Mortgage: Hampton-in-Arden and Elmdon

Description

Assignment by Henry Beke of London to Thomas Beliald of Grayes Inn, Middlesex, gentleman, Paul Gresham, citizen and merchant taylor of London, Michael Warner, citizen and draper of London, of a Mortgage created the 16th September 1623 by demise by John Mayne of Elmedon, esquire and Edmond Hawes of Solihull, gentleman, to the said Henry Beke of a term of 40 years in the premises referred to in ER3/4120 for the sum of £315, upon trust to allow the said Henry Beke to take the rents and profits of the said premises during his life, if the said term should continue so long, and thereafter if the said Henry Beke should marry Frances Beliald, sister of the said Thomas Beliald, to the said Frances for her life if the said term should continue so long.
